One-Day Conference on Confidence in Criminal Justice in London in April 2009
The Crime and Criminal Justice Statistics User Group will hold its annual conference on Wednesday 29 April at the Royal Statistical Society.
The theme is Confidence in Criminal Justice, with keynote presentations by Professor David Smith and Professor Alison Liebling.The event will be concerned with questions about confidence, institutional legitimacy and trust in justice.
The conference is free, but participants are asked to over their own travel costs; administration for the event is provided by ICPR, King'sCollege London. If you want a place, email icpr@kcl.ac.uk with your details. Numbers are limited to 75 places, on a first-come, first-servedbasis. The event is funded and co-sponsored by the Home Office and Ministry of Justice.
